After a long day of putting up fencing and seeding pasture, I sat down to watch the sunset with a nice glass of wine - I captured this image just before the sun has set and decided to turn it into artwork on canvas.  Just completed original oil painting available for purchase until it is submitted for display at the "Montpelier Center for Arts & Education - Grand Local Artists Show", November 18 ~ December 27, 2011

A Tribute to Gracie

This lovely oil portrait was recently created for Kristen Burgers of Virginia.  She lost her lovely Beagle, Gracie, last year and asked me to do a portrait that would allow her to keep her memory.  This 12x16" oil on canvas was just completed and she was very pleased with the likeness.

Artist, Willa Frayser displays Art at Myrna's Boots & Bits in Chesterfield, Virginia - New book "Danika & Yatimah" a big hit!

On Saturday February 5, I set up a display at a large, local tack store, Myrna's.  The response was very positive!  Several of the new children's book "Danika & Yatimah ~ from Egypt to the Outback" were sold, as well as prints.  

I enjoyed the day and was able to connect with new people.  The New paintings which are shown here:  "Heart & Soul", "Wind Chaser", "Looking Back" & "Secretariat"

were very well received!  Myrna has invited me to come back and visit in the future!

Prints are digitally produced - printed on PH Neutral paper. 

This newly reworked and hand painted resin sculpture by Willa Frayser, has just been completed.  The profile was reworked to give the face a more "dished" look of the Arabian horse, as well as the muzzle area more sloped so the nostrils were more extended.  Also created more of a "mitbah" or throatlatch.   The details were all hand painted using oil paints.
